Washing a second hand snuzpod

Super silly question, apologies. We have been very kindly given a snuzpod hand me down from friends. We've bought a new mattress and mattress protector but I'm wondering if I need to wash the fabric outer bit of the snuzpod? It's come from a very clean, non smoking household and was stored in a bag in the loft prior to us getting it. I'm concerned if I try to dismantle it to wash then I'll wreck it...?

I didn't have one but did have a sleepyhead

I did wash and it is a pain but I would still wash yours seeing the state mine got in (also a clean non smoking no pets house) there was definite baby dribble/reflux on it

You're fine to wash it in the machine on a hand wash cycle and lowest spin cycle - then dry on airer- I washed mine several times, good as new each time x
