8 month old naps

Hi there,

Just wondered if anyone else is in a similar situation?

My LO always goes to bed 2 hours after waking in the morning, 3 hours after waking from first nap & 4 hours after waking from second nap for nighttime sleep.

She is a brilliant napper once she finally falls asleep, but she will stand up in her crib, roll around, about, bang on the wall etc for - at best, 20 minutes - at worst, an hour before she falls asleep.

To be clear, she isn't crying at all during this time and if she did, I would go in and sooth her but generally she is quite happy pottering about until she's ready to sleep.

I've tried moving nap time forward, backwards & nothing seems to help - it seems like this is probably part of her process - but it's very time consuming and sometimes means that she misses out on nice activities etc that she could be doing.

Im just wondering if anyone has any tips / whether this gets better as they get older?
