9 month old waking after an hour of bed time.

Since turning 9 months my dd completely changed her sleeping. She has gone from 7pm-8am sleep throughs to waking up every hour of the night.
I posted on here previously to which someone mentioned developmental reasons being behind the change in sleep. Anyway last night was a better night she just stirred but didn't quite wake up.
She keeps waking exactly 1 hour after bedtime and it's hard for her to settle afterwards.
What can I do?

I feel your pain so much! My LO did exactly the same thing & it lasted about a week - it seems to be affecting her naps now, more than her night time sleep - which I'm grateful for! It's this bloody sleep regression they have at this age. When she was waking, I was just giving her some water (not milk), giving her a cuddle and putting her back down.

It's peak separation anxiety time too & they wake SCREAMING! I've just been cuddling and reassuring, and putting her back down. She does seem to be coming out the other end of it now (three weeks on) but it's brutal, so I feel your pain! My LO started with it at 8 months - all the information says that it's just a phase and it will go back to normal, you just need to make sure you stick to their routine etc and not create new habits that will make things worse when they come out of it.

That said, I did cave a couple of times and end up co-sleeping just to get some sleep. Although she's gone back into her own crib no problem & think that's just what she needed on those occasions!

Good luck! It'll soon be over! :)

@Lottiebugz22
😫😫😫 nightmare!!
We had three nights where she literally woke every half an hour, just as I went into a deep sleep we'd be off again - it was like torture! Her night time sleep is back to normal now thank god! But now she is protesting naps! It's definitely just a phase, as all the other mums from my NCT group are also going through this & it's hard!
Google 9 month regression and there's so much info and advice - but the bottom line is, it's short lived and will go back to normal! Hang in there girl 🤣!
