Transitioning out of moses basket

So, just tried my DD who is beastly 5 months for a nap in the travel cot. Total disaster! Took half an hour to fall asleep (not crying, just sucking dummy abd fidgeting) and only slept for 20 mins!!! Never had this problem with my first. She normally sleeps with one arm swaddled too, but I took both arms out since she has space to roll in the travel cot.

Moses basket has been inside travel cot for weeks now. Any ideas due anything else I can do too make the transition easier? Should I transition out of the swaddle first?

Oops, she's not beastly (though quite long, hence needing to move) - should say nearly!!Grin

That sounds like a huge success to me! Especially for a first go!

So do I... but our naps today (just over 6 months dd) have been: 7 mins, 30 seconds and 35 mins (while on the boob).

You're doing great by any measure though.
