My 9 month old daughter use to be a dream going to bed you would just lay her down and she would fall asleep herself. Now for the past 2 months she will scream every nite in her cot till she falls asleep. It ha a only started from she was able to sit up n pull herself up so she's standing. I have to keep laying her down about 15 times till she has exhausted herself from the crying. I don't know how to help her it's only at nite she don't do it when she naps during the day

OP we are having the same, baby was an excellent sleeper from birth and suddenly waking every 1-2 hours and can’t settle at bedtime or during night, Wakes up screaming, etc. I think it’s mostly separation anxiety and everything I read says you just have to wait that out. Ours is complicated by teething pain too.we will probably try one of the no cry methods when the teeth finally pop through As DH and I really can’t mnGe like this.

I would do whatever you need to do to get her through this with the least amount of distress possible. At 9 months DD was being rocked to drowsy in my arms then cuddled til she was fast asleep then transferred to cotbed. It was what she needed. I never persevered with any form of trying to get her to sleep for longer than 15 mins or so if she was getting upset, less if she was hysterical. Didn't think it fair on her personally especially if you know you can get her to sleep calmly by doing something else, which we could.
