Cheaper alternative to Grobags?

My DS is about to grow out of his 0-6 months Grobags so I need to upgrade... but ideally for less £££!

I know it's easy to find 2.5 tog Grobags in Boots, Mothercare etc but I've found it tricky to locate 1 and 0.5 tog bags (room is very warm in summer), can anyone recommend any? (Preferably ones I can buy online...)

Not online but TK Maxx often have branded Grobags for £10.
I think Argos have some aswell, and probably Tesco Direct.

my sister got one from warehouse direct (or similar name) - an ebay store I think

Try www.thedreambag.co.uk, i ordered one from here which arrived this morning and it's fab! The 0.5 and 1 tog bags are about £13-15 which includes free delivery.

marks and spencers are very good and usually cost about 16 quid

And the farmyard friends design is toooo cute !

I got mine from NCT sales secondhand. Obviously not possible if there aren't any near you in the near future, and 0.5 and 1 tog ones are harder to find than the winter ones, but as a long term plan - maybe for the size after this one?

OMG I really wish I had known about this website before I spent a fortune £50 on 2 summer Grobags - these are so cute aswell!!

One problem I've found with cheaper alternatives is that DS has grown out of them a lot quicker. For example, we were lent a couple of Asda ones which were supposedly 6-12 months and he'd grown out of them both by the time he was 10 months. And he's not a long baby at all.

I must say, I do use the real thing. We only have two but they are our one indulgence.

I have bought Grobag ones from icbaby.com in the past. They often have older designs etc. much cheaper in their sales. I think I bought one for winter near the start of summer (IYSWIM) for less than half price. Worth a try anyway.

I have bought all my DS' grobags on ebay. All brand new for under a tenner delivered.

john lewis own .5 tog grobag was £18 iirc

TK Maxx do them quite cheaply.

I bought a dream bag one for ds and its great.
Although we havent used it for sometime now because he is such a hot baby.

I would definatley recommend a look in TK Maxx because they have some brilliant grobags and they are really cheap.

I second the comment about Asdas though. Not very good imo.

I got one for dd from Asda last winter.
I think it was £5.

Go on ebay. I got some great deals there.
