DS12 is exhausted and complains he doesn't sleep. He says he's terrified of clowns (ever since the movie "It" which his classmates watched and talked about, but he's never watched). No amount of reasoning will help but I told him he must come get me if he can't fall asleep.
Last night he was up late doing homework. He came up to my room at 10pm to use my loo and left. I went downstairs to see if he was ok and he's on his bed, stiff as a board, looking terrified, wide awake. He said he was scared and I asked why he didn't say anything when he came to my room. He said he never came and was irritated when I insisted he did. We had a chat and he seemed ok and I told him to come wake me if he couldn't settle but he never came. Next morning he was livid because he said he hadn't slept a wink!
