19mo won't stay asleep.

He goes down okay(ish) at bedtime, but by 11pm is awake and crying. I've fed him, calpolled (he's teething) and yet he won't stay asleep for more than about 5 minutes. As you might imagine, this is somewhat wearing. Is something wrong? He doesn't feel hot or cold, nappy is fine, doesn't want water. What am I missing?

Is this just tonight or a regular thing? Any developmtal changes you've noticed, new words/skills?
It's probably just a phase, but if you think it's teeth I always found ibuprofen worked better than paracetamol with DD.

Google the 18 month sleep regression, you are most likely in the thick of it. Totally developmentally normal and you're doing nothing wrong

Regular at the mo. Lots of new words, huge jumps in that area, so possibly just that.

This too shall pass, I suppose...

Nice username, @JohnLapsleyParlabane. Finding myself rereading those on my kindle.
