My baby is 4 months and 2 weeks he has started to wake at 2/3am he will wriggle for 2 hours with his eyes closed not crying. In the end I give in and give him milk as he then goes straight back to sleep. Has anyone else had a similar experience ? I don’t want to keep giving him milk Cos he’ll get used to needing a bottle if I do but equally he doesn’t seem to stop moving until I do.also wonder if the next to me crib is to small now as there is no space for him to move around?

Mine woke up around this age and wiggled/grunted but didn't quite wake or cry. Seemed to be going through a growth spurt so I fed him every night for a few weeks and then he stopped waking again. Are you sure your DC isn't hungry? When do they last eat and when is the first meal of the day? Four months seems a bit little to be skipping a bottle in the night if they may still want or need one.

If he's not crying or in distress, just let him be.

@Rtmhwales he has a bottle at 7pm and then again at 7am in the morning. He used to have a bottle at 10pm but he stopped wanting it so we dropped the bottle and he slept straight through ( I thought the same it was a bit to soon to sleep straight through as my first son was a hungry baby) but he just didn’t want a bottle in the night. Maybe he is hungry but not crying for it Cos when we give it to him he drinks most of it. Maybe you right it’s a growth spurt thank you

Could it be the four month sleep regression
