Moving baby into cot

My little boy will be 6 months on Monday so I've been thinking about moving him into his own room. How did you ladies go about it? Did you just go straight for it or do naps first? Also did you find that they slept better in their cot?xx

Dd went in her own room at a similar age. Just chose a day and started all nighttime’s and naps from then on. She slept much better as we didn’t keep disturbing her.

@Yoohoo16 yes I think I'm just going to go for it, I'm just worried as sometimes he will randomly wake in the night and I just gently shush and rock him back to sleep. Sometimes he will do this about 4 times a night, I'll be knackered if I have to keep getting up to his cot 😂🙈 it's easier in the next to me bed lol x
