Bad dreams??

My DD is 6, she's always been a good sleeper. She's been in her own room since 2 and had always slept through the night.

She started having bad dreams when she was around 5. We got her a dream catcher.. had the talk that dreams weren't real etc.. she was then fine again with bedtime.

Now for the last few weeks she waking almost every night again, coming into bed with me and saying she's having bad dreams. I've put her back to bed, comforted her telling her they're not real and to think 'happy things' like, what we done on holiday.. school days.. days out etc..

Since she got her dream catcher, every night since she's gone to bed and said 'Night night dream catcher, give me good dreams' she got this from a poem we read in a book once and it kinda stuck with her. She thinks she gives her good dreams.

Any ideas to why she's having so frequent bad dreams? Advise to help settle her mind?

She has no stress at school, home etc so I'm not sure what could be playing on her mind either..

Any advise is appreciated!

Do you know what they are about? Are they reoccurring dreams? If so, work together to 'defeat' the dream.
