DD started sleeping through at about 6 months. She’s now 1. The past 8 weeks or so though have been awful, she goes down very well and sleeps between say 7-1 then the fun starts . I’ve now got into a dreadful habit of going in at 1, giving water patting her back and then she’ll geverslky wake again around 3/4 when the only way to get her back is a bottle of milk. She eats plenty in the day so I know she’s not hungry . I’m going back to work soon and she’ll be starting with a CM. I’m so bloody tired & I need her to sleep . What’s best ? Anyone has a similar situation? Controlled crying ? Her naps during the day are between 1-2 hours generally she has this after lunch & is always up by 230 latest.

I'm in a similar boat except mine has always been a terrible sleeper. I believe there is a sleep regression at this age. We've struggled for the last two months and now we're trying to get him into a better routine. The only way he'll sleep at the moment is with us lying next to him, on his bedroom floor. Do what works for you.

Nix it’s rubbish isn’t it. We’ve tried bringing her in with us but she just wriggles and fidgets and thinks it playtime . She’s starting with CM next week so I’m a bit reluctant to do any form of sleep training until she’s settled there. Our eldest DC was an awful sleeper too and got better about the 3 YO mark. It’s so draining though & makes me wish the time away
