Hi, my DS is 3 years old and has always been a really good sleeper, sleeping through with no problems. Recently though this has changed. Its been over a month now when he has last slept through the night and I have no idea why he doesn't anymore. He settles fine when he goes to bed between 7pm - 730pm but then he is constantly getting up hours later. He just comes into my room and I just take him back and tuck him in but this can happen 3 or more times every night!
I am now getting so tired in the mornings yet my DS does not appear tired at all. I have given him a night light which I thought would help as he said he doesn't like the dark but he is still getting up. I really don't know what to do to try and get him to stay in bed and sleep anymore. Any tips?

Hi I didn't want to read and run and I have no advice but just wanted to say that my 2 and a half year old has started waking in the night lately too, he has always been such a good sleeper and it's been ages now since we didn't hear a peep from him all night like we used to. He is dreaming ALOT wakes up crying and talking about the most random things and even woke the other morning asking me if heir were snakes in his bed 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 My friend is a HV and she said a certain part of their brain is developing at this age which is in control of imagination, fears/ learning what's good and bad and Scary etc x
