Hi all...

Love to hear how your bedtime is? What time your little one wakes in the morning?

I want to improve our bedtime routine and whole evening routine if I can...then maybe, just maybe I'll get to watch a bit if TV or chill with hubby!! Here's hopingWink

So currently my DD, nearly 13 MONTHS...

Wakes anywhere between 8.30am and 9am
930am Breakfast
1230 Lunch
Nap at around 2pm - varies - 90 mins to 2 hours...
530 Dinner
6/630 Bath
Then quiet time ...cuddles , breastfeeding...reading books
Bedtime anywhere between 8.30pm and 9pm
Always wakes 30 or 45mins after going down but resettles well if not teething!!

Will usually sleep through from say 11.30pm to 8.30am...

If I want her to start going to bed at say 7.30pm .. do I simply wake her earlier in the morning...? Find I'm having to drag out the evening as she simply isn't tired until 8pm ish...

Thanks for reading.

Yes, wake earlier and try to move the routine to an earlier time throughout the whole day. Good luck!

Thanks @gigi556

I woke her at 8.30am yesterday morning in the hope she would go down at 8.30am or earlier...but no it was still 9pm....

I'm also trying to have more quieter time before bed and see if that makes a difference to her settling down.

Yes I would wake earlier and adjust whole route as PP said , including an earlier nap time. At that age my DD would nap 1230-3pm then go to bed at 7.30pm . She would usually wake around 630 am though so you will lose your later morning!
I would try:
Wake 730am
Nap 1230-3pm
Bed 730pm

Try and do an activity in the morning to tire DD out before her nap. I expect after a few mornings of waking up early she will be ready to nap earlier then go to bed earlier too.

I would wake her at 7.30 and bring the nap earlier to 12.30/1.
