My son turned two a month ago and he wakes every three hours. Ive just moved him to his own room two weeks ago, im exhausted, the third time i go to settle him hell either go back to sleep for like an hour or not go back to sleep at all so hell be up around 5:30 to 6:30 rather than 7 -8. Im honestly so tired and very ready for a full nights sleep which ive not once had...not ecen close.... ive never let him cry, so i feel that will be so scary to him. But im so tired along with working, not having help and also dealing with very stressful personal issues im easily irritated in the day and i dont like it. What can i do? Hes a live wire 100 mph at all times, so he refuses naps and is still bouncing off walls at 7pm and finally sleeps at 8pm with no help but i do sit on the end of the bed until he falls asleep.
Thanks.

Hi there!
My little boy is 2.5 and his sleep has just taken the biggest nose dive over the past 3 months. He was always horrific, and then at 17 months we stopped breast feeding and had to resort to controlled crying and it worked. I had a good few months of okay ish sleep. Now nothing works. He absolutely freaks out when I leave the room and with him no longer being in his cot I just do not know what to do! Somethings I find myself sitting in his room for over 90 minutes and then I'm still up multiple times during the night with him :( I feel I can't leave him to cry now he's not in a cot anymore!
I never anticipated sleep would still be a struggle at this age! I just don't know what to do :(
