Techno music puts baby to sleep like a dream. Is this bad?

Our DS was fighting going to sleep in both day time and evening and waking up to ten times a night despite our soothing music - waves, washing machine, hoover, Mozart, you name it, we've tried it! Until his Uncle took us on a long car journey during the day, playing this incredibly tedious techno music and DS went out like a light and stayed asleep for a record three hours! Since then we've been playing 'Unknown Landscapes' to him and it literally works like a dream. Has anyone else found that techno has this effect on getting baby to sleep and keeping him asleep or does DS just possess his uncle's genes? Lol. Also, even though Uncle tells us that the techno beat thumps at the same rate as a baby's heartbeat - fast - and has that soothing shushing noise and is very repetitive which they like, AIBU to think techno is somehow not a good influence on DS?

If it works I would just thank your lucky stars you've found such an easy solution! I love techno and can testify there are no long-term ill effects to listening to it Smile

He'll have shit taste in music but sleep well. I'd take that trade.
