My baby will only sleep on me

Looking for any advice please - my 3mo will only sleep if he is on my chest, day or night. I love the cuddles but in this heat it cant be good for him to be on me... we had maybe a week where he went in his sleepyhead after falling asleep on me but that lasts about 5mins at a time now... he is breastfed so I dont know if it's making him clingy to me

I wouldn't chalk it down to breastfeeding, babies are just all different as are their needs. Not overly ideal in this heat, but do you have a sling library nearby where you can try some and maybe rent one? The volunteers are usually really good as well and could hopefully recommend one which is okay in this heat.

There are some other techniques, maybe not ideal in this heat but things like popping a water bottle down for a few mins in the cot and then removing it before popping them in so they don't notice the change in temp as much from your lovely warm body to the cold cot; also maybe some white noise? Ewan the dream sheep has a heartbeat womb sound which helped my DD be comforted in her cot.
