Wriggling out of bedside cot

My baby is 3 months old and sleeps in a bedside cot attached to my bed. She has started wriggling out of it in the night and ends up next to me on my bed. I've made the bed safe for cosleeping so not too worried about that, but am scared she'll start wriggling further down the bed past the cot and fall off the edge. Anyone had any similar problems? How can I make it safer? I was planning to have her sleep in the bedside cot until at least 6 months because she sleeps really well there and it's so handy for night feeds.

You need a sleepyhead...or similar 😊 DS slept in a purflo sleep pod in cot attached to my bed until he was about 9 months old x

I thought the lullaby trust advised against using sleepyheads. I'm not sure she'd sleep in one anyway, she likes to spread out!

I think they do 😕 All 3 of mine have slept well in the sleepyhead next to me but then agree they're not recommended. I probably wouldn't have put them in their own room in one though 🤷🏼‍♀️
