So really common post I no. But I wondered if my 10 month old wakes so early because he isn't filled up enough with food. He has 3 6oz bottles in the day and a 7oz before bed. If he eats loads at tea he is to full for a lot of his bottle. Prob is he likes food and will eat finger food but what fills them up enough to get him another hour in bed. He was wide eyed at 5.15 this morning and when I got him up screaming for his bottle. Any ideas?

Not an expert, but if he's having 3 meals a day and 3 bottles during the day plus a bedtime bottle, it does sound like he's having enough food. Especially if he lets you know he's had enough after his meals? It could be the change in weather and the lighter mornings as to why he is waking early? My 13 month old has started waking around 5am too the past week or so.

At this age, I had the same issue with my little one. There was no filling him, what helped with getting him to sleep longer was a bowl of porridge before bed. So he'd have tea at half four/fiveish then porridge around half six. It was heavier on his tummy and took longer to digest. Also keep an eye on wake times during the day that can cause the early rises
