Getting 11 week old to nap in crib

I feel like I’ve totally ‘made a rod for my own back’. LG will nap brilliant during the day but only in her sling or less well being rocked to sleep.lThis makes getting stuff done tricky and when MIL is babysitting in a few weeks she can’t wear the sling so won’t be able to get LG to sleep.

She’ll sleep fine in her crib at night but I nurse her to sleep when she wakes in the night.

Today I’ve been trying to get LG to fall asleep either being rocked in the crib or by me and both times I’ve ended up feeding her to sleep.

Any advice on how to transition her to napping in the crib?

I really struggled with getting DS to nap in cot, but he always slept at night in it fine. I eventually started feeding him on my knee in his room and then just as he started to drift off I'd put him in his cot and put the bottle back in if he stirred. Took about a week of this then he'd start going in without needing the bottle to calm him and then another week where I'd feed him and then lay him down awake and he'd go to sleep. It's not easy and your DC may not take to it but it worked for me
