5 month old wont nap

My 5.5 month old refuses to nap and this is therefore affecting her sleep at night where she wakes up to time and wont go back to sleep until 2 hours later.

I have tried to set up a routine but she resists and cries. I leave her in her cot, she cries, and this goes on all day everyday.

What do I need to do?

She maybe a bit too young for a daytime routine yet. I remember stressing about this with my DD (now 4) but she would do the same. I gave her a break from it for a while and just let her sleep on me and tried again at about 6.5/7 months and she just went to sleep and didn’t sleep on me again til she was 2.5 and went through another nap hating phase! Maybe give her a bit more time?
Car or pram to get her over? Or I used to give DD a bottle in the dark then sit on the bed and drink tea and watch boxsets while she slept.
