Hi so my dd is 16mo and she won’t go to sleep in her cot now this is entirely my own fault after she was born I suffered with perinatal anxiety and depression so I just couldn’t let her sleep upstairs at night unless I was with her so she slept in a travel cot downstairs ( it did have a proper mattress) then when I got rid of that she sort of just fell asleep downstairs and then I would take her upstairs to her cot when I went to bed. Then I started to feel better about her being on her own so I would put her in her cot as soon as she was asleep but she’s never slept through and would wake a lot one time I was exhausted and put her in bed with me now she won’t go to sleep unless she i lie with her if she wakes up in her cot she just screams and cries and she’s the same if I put her in her cot awake! I’ve tried sitting with her and leaving her to cry for a few minutes she has a cotbed so I thought maybe putting it to a bed to see if she likes that better! To make matters more complicated she has to share my room so I don’t think that helps any advice would be really appreciated (sorry for the long post
