Why is my 11 month old doing this

11 month old DD won't nap at all in the day. This has been most of June now and I'm at a loss!!!

Used to have 90 mins at midday after waking at 9pm. Sometimes 30 mins at 3.30pm.

Will sleep 8.30pm few wake ups to around midnight and will then sleep to 8/8.30am.

Have two more teeth coming through at top ... so teething issues.

I have no evening and no rest in the day. Please help.

Is she on the verge of walking? This buggers up sleep for a while. It's such a big developmental leap that they can't switch off.

Well if she's teething, that's probably why. Generally teething makes everything go to shit.

Plus it's been hot. Will she sleep if she's out in the pram instead?

She probably also needs to change the time of her nap. If she doesn't get up until 8/9am, then I'd push her nap back to about 1pm.

If you want to have more time in the evening, I'd wake her up earlier in the morning.

Thanks so much. That's really interesting about the first nap at 1pm. My mother-in-law says I should be putting her down 2 hours after wake up and I'm doing it all wrong. Not very helpful.

With regards to the walking...she's not crawling but is shuffling on bottom and really standing when I hold her up. She does roll about as well.

I did wake her at 7.30am a few mornings ago and she was still tricky to get down between 9pm and 11pm but maybe I need to be more consistent with that one. 8am might be a starter ?

She starts her day at 9am?
At 9 months I did this
7am wake (I woke them up), milk
8 am breakfast
9.20-10am nap
11.45am protein-based lunch
12.30-2.45pm nap
3pm milk
5pm carb-based dinner
6pm bath
6.30pm bottle
6.50pm bed, asleep by 7.

@fatted 1pm could well be a better time although I was told it should be two hours after first wake up and I'm leaving it too long.
She's been happiest taking 90 mins at 12.30/1 after a 9am wake up.

Is 3/3.5 hours after to do with her she now? She sometimes first want a second nap at 3pm ish. At the moment it's a nap in the car for 40 mins if I'm lucky! I'm

#sorry that was meant to read....is one nap at 1pm what she should be on for 11 month old?

She has fought the second nap for ages...

Ahhh! I hope this settles down soon. She has had rosy cheeks a lot today...

If she slept for 90 mins then your schedule was working for her. Forget the 2 hours, that may work for some but not all babies are the same. And they grow and change so that is normal too.

When my ds struggled to nap I put him in buggy, switched the washing machine on and pushed him a little till he feel asleep. White noise definitely helped. Was annoying as he was in kitchen I couldn't get a cup of tea but at least I got a break.

So it seems my darling DD has four teeth coming through at the same time!!!
Now I see the sleep has gone to pot!!

They have broken through a little now and last night she pretty much slept through! She also had a nap in the car at 1 pm ! Woohoo! She was actually snoring.

Hopefully everything resumes to better naps. It's been a long few weeks.
Thank you for all your advice! I'll probably be back on here asking about something else! Thank you all
