5mo needs movement to nap

DD will only nap in the bassinet attachment to her pram. 5-10minutes of pushing and she's out for the count. Great. But now she's very very close to being too big for it.

At night I feed her then rock her to sleep in her baby carrier. If she's super exhausted she will fall asleep mid-feed but that doesn't happen often. Rocking her in the baby carrier does work for day naps. But I tried using it exclusively for a few days and was utterly exhausted by the end of it.

The pushchair attachment to her pram does not allow her to lay flat. It's more of a bucket seat, iyswim. I'm considering buying a new pram with a lie flat seat, but that's a last resort...

Any advice for how to help her nap without pushing a bassinet up and down my hallway or breaking my back carrying her in her sling all day?!

Thank you!

I had to push dts for naps and rock them to sleep until they were just turned one, sorry! On the plus side I was really fit. They just grew out of it in the end.

My little one is only 3 months old and I also have this issue but for the past month since doing some research, I have tried stopping the motion just before he falls asleep and letting him do the rest himself. He sometimes wriggles about annoyed by the lack of motion but puts himself to sleep, he sometimes can't do it and wakes up totally again. It's getting better over time though! My next step is getting him to fall asleep in his crib as he has to be dead asleep for me to even move him. Good luck 🤞
