Raising baby's head in crib

My LO is 9 weeks old and suffering from CMPA and reflux. She spits up a lot of water even hours after her feed and is choking on it sometimes and it is soaking her clothes and hair throughout the day and night.
Been to see the GP today and she has prescribed some new medicine to try but also recommended I elevate LO's head in her crib at night to try and help. I think it would put my mind at ease as I worry about her choking on it when we're asleep, but all the SIDS advice says no to elevating baby's head and that they should be flat on their backs.

Wondering if anyone else has been given this advice or what the problem even is with doing it, as she (and many other babies) sleeps in her bouncer during the day which isn't flat on her back - is that not safe either?

Just not sure what to do for the best Confused

Lift the end of the cot with books under the legs.

Put a pillow or something under the head end of the mattress. Or put books under the back legs of the cot

Roll up a towel and put under the mattress

My DD had bad reflux, I put her on her side with a rolled towel behind her to stop her rolling onto her back, and put her on the other side after a night time feed.
I also raised the legs of the cot

Books under the mattress. I’ve kept my French-English dictionary from my A-Levels and it works a treat.

Use a wedge hog (they supply the nhs too)- wedgehog.co.uk/pages/about-us

I didn’t want to use books incase it was unbalanced. The wedge hog is amazing!
