What time does your 4 year old go to bed?

My DS is recently 4. He has always gone to bed at 7ish and gone to sleep within 15 mins or so. At the moment he is faffing about, thinking of reasons to get up, calling out, playing with toys anything but sleeping. Pretty much every night for a few weeks he has fallen asleep between 8 and 8.30, getting up at the usual 6.30. He is totally fine during the day, not sleepy or grumpy, but to me it just seems a bit short to need only 10 hours sleep at 4?
DD is 6 and has always needed a lot of sleep so she needs to be in bed by 7.30 and gets up at 7 but I'm starting to think he needs less sleep than her.
Is this a normal transition at this age? I can't bare the faffing about but I also don't want him to miss out on sleep he needs.

He already goes to a full time school nursery class, does swimming and lots of activities so I think he's sufficiently busy and should be tired!

My DD is almost 4 and her bedtime has slid gradually from 7 until 8. She just isn't ready by 7 most nights. We too had a lot of faffing about and I would rather just put it back by half an hour and have her settle more quickly. It does vary a bit - she had an especially busy day today and was asleep by 6.30! She wakes about 7. She consistently does between 10 and 11 hours sleep and has done for about a year now (before that it was 12 hours with a 2 hour nap - those were the days!)

My DD is 4, nearly 5, and goes to sleep at around 9.15/9.30 and is up any time between 6.30 and 7.30. She has never needed much sleep.

Ds is 3.5, our aim is asleep by 8 and he wakes at 6. Been usual for a few months now, no naps and 10 hours at night.

7:30 asleep, up by 7:15

Thank you. There's absolutely no way he'd be asleep by 6.30- if he was he'd be up by 5!
I think he's just settling into an 8-6.30ish pattern which I can live with, but he does seem a little tired at the moment. Trouble is he keeps himself awake in his room - yawning away but doing anything to stay awake 😡.
