sleeping in a chicco seat

Our two-week old will only sleep in her chicco bouncer chair. We recline this to flat, but are not sure if its OK to let her sleep in it for prolonged periods. Any advice?

DS3 slept in his little chair for a couple of weeks at this age - he had a cold and it was easier for him to breathe that way.

Doesn't seem to have done him any harm!

At this stage, you're probably glad that she sleeps at all - make the most of it

Ds only slept in his bouncy for weeks! He had reflux and every time we lay him flat he screamed. So bounced him off to sleep, and let him do daytime naps in his chair. We moved him to his carrycot at night though.

dd did that a lot during the day but was always in her basket at night, with the head end raised slightly on a rolled up blanket beneath the mattress.
