My almost 8 month old doesn’t and never has slept the required amount each day and night.
I found this online:

From 6 to 8 months, a baby should get an average of 11 uninterrupted hours of sleep each night and 3.5 hours each day, spread out over two to three naps (a morning, afternoon, and late-afternoon nap).

My DS is getting nowhere near that amount. He is extremely restless at night time and is breastfed so wakes continuously, plus won’t settle unless he’s in the bed co sleeping with us.
We put him down at 7:30 after his bath and story and he sleeps without waking until about 11pm. So around 3.5 hours. From then onwards he wakes consistently, which I feel is bad for us all.

During the day he naps in the morning for 45 mins - hour and in the afternoon around the same. Occasionally he sleeps a short time in between, maybe another 15-20 minutes somewhere in the car seat etc.
He’ll only sleep in the car seat or pushchair while moving during the day. Although occasionally he’ll go down on the bed with me but I have to lay with him.
I’m so exhausted I feel unwell. Headache, nausea etc.
I’m so anxious he isn’t getting enough sleep & it’ll affect his development long term.
