Is 2 too young to stop having naps?

Literally since DD turned 2 we have had trouble with her sleep. Her routine was basically bed at 7.30/8pm get up approx 7am. She's always needed a long afternoon so her nap has always been in the morning approx 10.30am.
However now I just can't get her to sleep and it's driving me mad. Many nights it's taking till 10.30/11pm. This causes her to wake abit later 8/8.30am. She then refuses to nap until the afternoon approx 1pm meaning again she won't sleep in the evening.
So I thought the simple idea was to not allow her to nap a couple of days try and get her back into her old routine. I thought it had worked as she was so tired by 7pm. However now discovered when I do this she wakes in the night around 3am and won't go back to sleep for about an hour. She then sleeps in again till about 8.30am because of the gap.
Any advice welcome! She seems too tired during the day when she doesn't nap and I've read they should still have a day nap till they are 3/4. So I don't really want to stop her naps and tbh it doesn't seem to be helping anyway.

My older two both stopped napping before 2. They did seem tired in the afternoon but only wayyy after an appropriate nap time, and nothing I could do would persuade them to sleep at the “right” time (I tried for over a month with both), so we stopped. It doesn’t seem to have done either of them any harm.
