Cotbed or toddler bed for 16 months old

Hello all,

My daughter is outgrowing her compact cot and we are looking at getting her a new bed. I am torn in between getting a cotbed or just going straight to a toddler bed. She’s in her own room so with the toddler bed I worry she will climb off at night, however all cotbeds I’ve seen have a weight limit if 25kg (I think) so I’m not sure how long they’ll last? Tia x

Well, my slender 8 year old isnt 25kg yet, so I wouldnt worry too much about the upper weight limit!
Personally, I think id go for a bed tho. As in a single bed. But then mine were climbing out of the cot at 18 months...
