Just that. Curious to know. Did Gina with my first (no comments please) and it worked a dream. Not so easy to do it second time around with the timings but equally I want him to sleep through ASAP Grin just wondering what the norm is regarding daytime sleep at this stage

What's Gina?

Gina Ford I presume. When my DD was 5 weeks old she was almost never awake.

@NameChangedNoImagination same!

My 9 week old is also hardly ever awake as well. He can do about 20-30 minutes and then he has to go back to sleep or he has a meltdown.

My eldest was the same, up until they were about 4/5 months they were hardly ever awake. I do think that I've got babies who like their sleep though so recognise this may not be the norm!

At 5 weeks my DD was hardly ever awake. Now at 9 weeks she is starting to stay awake for 30-45 minutes at a time then goes back to sleep. She sleeps 6-8 hours at night. Doing nothing differently to my DS who was awake all the time and only slept 90 minutes at a time all night long.
