10 month old sobbing at night

So, my DS has been a terrible sleeper since birth.

Finally he's getting there sleeping from 8-11/12 then from 12-5 which is fine I can deal with this.

But recently he's started to sob in his sleep, wake himself up and then ends up in tears. He sleeps in my room in a cot, but ends up in bed with my by 12. There he spends half the night wriggling around the bed and crying.

Any suggestions on why? Or what to do?
I go back to work week after next.:: and this has been going on for nearly two weeks.

Frankly I'm tired and starting to get a bit shitty. I mean I know sleep depravation comes with motherhood... but I've nearly had enough 😕

Mine did this, still does sometimes to be honest (2 and half years old) we bedshare so I swiftly cuddle and kiss him when it starts and he stops, which makes me think it's bad dreams. However, he has previously cried in his sleep due to teething and wind

I have the exact same with my 9 month old. Terrible sleeper. Has started going from 7.30/8 to midnight. And then there salot of wriggling, discomfort and crying. He has just fallen sleep after nearly an hour's crying in my bed. I finally got a burp out of him and he just passed out, so I think it was wind. It's exhausting and upsetting. So you have my sympathy.
