Sleep training - twins!

DD2 and DS are twins, nearly 15mo. Just 13.5mo corrected.

DD2 is that mythical baby who self-settles from birth.

DS.... not so much.

He has developed a habit of coming into our bed around 11pm and sleeping there all night. It is sort of sweet and snuggly but none of the 3 of us (me DH baby) sleep brilliantly. He also seems to be getting worse. It used to be sometimes, now it's every night.

Last night was the pits. We moved some junk out of the twins' room and the result was they could see each other in their cots. They went wild. DD2 beside herself, didn't get to sleep till gone 9 (bedtime is 7!) And DS hysterical till nearly 10.

I work FT and DH works PT/ sahd. Last night he was about to flip with tiredness and frustration. We need to do something, but what, and how do you train one child without waking the other??!

Crikey that is a difficult one. You are absolutely right about the co sleeping tho - we dis it out of desperation and it just moved earlier and earlier.

Can you create some sort of partition? I dont think sleep training will work if DS isnt in his bedroom. Could DD sleep in her cot in your bed for a while?

Thanks! Don't think a partition will work..... just think we might have to wake DD2 up for a bit......

Anyone with experience of parenting twins or DC close in age, further comments appreciated!
