My 9 month old dd has started to wake up at 5am after sleeping in until 6am up until now. I think it might coincide with me going back to work and dd being at nursery. I have moved her bedtime back from 7pm until 7.30pm which worked for a couple of days and has now stopped working. I am quite desparate and my dh and I are falling out every morning over leaving her to cry. I have tried feeding her (breast) and putting her back down but she won't go back to sleep. Dh thinks that I am feeing guilty about going back to school so won't leave her to cry but I think that is a bit harsh. Can anyone offer any good suggestions? I need her to stay asleep until 6 really.

moominmummy, having a similar problem with my dd, 23 months. I have a thread on it close on the list to this one. But I don't have a solution just yet. 5am is way too early though if you ask me, I'm fed up with 6am!!
