Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ my baby boy is 6 months old and currently in his snuzpod but know that heโ€™ll no longer be able to use this when is pulling himself up. Im not ready to put him in his own room as we live in a three storey and his cot is far too big to carry up into our room. Are there any kind of bedside cots that we could look into getting that could last another 6 months or so? Thanks

Try a travel cot. They're pretty light but like a normal cot- deep enough for them not to be able to lean over or fall out.

Weโ€™ve tried the chicco zip and go travel cot but it hasnt seemed very comfy for him- especially for the price.May look at other ones though thanks

You can get a proper mattress to go into a travel cot, it makes it much more comfortable.

Unfortunately I got ours from babiesrus but I'm sure there are other places!

We bought one of the cheapest cots in mothercare and fastened it to the side of the bed with cable ties an shunted our mattress across so the mattresses are flush. He's 3.5 and still sleeping in it now.

Travel cot with a decent mattress.

It's not recommended but I kept our youngest in his Chico next to me past 6 months. He was never much of a climber etc and the second he got into bed was flat out. Any whiff of him being able to get out and it would have had to go.

The mokee cot, you can change the level of the mattress and could even take the side off to have a large next to me cot.

We just had a normal cot and attached it to the side of our bed. Worked really well and she was in that until well past a year. Working on getting her into her own room at some point before sheโ€™s 30 now ๐Ÿ™ˆ
