Any parents whose children share a room?

Hi
dd (2) and ds(4.5) are now in the same room. They are both very happy to share and it's really brought them closer together.
BUT. DS has always been a pretty good solid sleeper 7.30 until 7.00. dd is usually ok but recently she's been waking at 5.30 and waking ds up too. ds has just started school and needs his sleep. Anyone any ideas or can assure me this is just a phase?!

Thanks Beetroot - sadly the only alternative is in with us as our bathroom is tiny and other rooms a building site ATM. Ho hum....

It should work out over time. DD will get back to a normal waking pattern and/or DS will learn to sleep through it.

DS1 now manages to sleep through DS2s 3am asthma attacks and his noisyness at bedtime, but it did take a little while to get used to each other! We have a similar age gap as well!

Next year will be fun as DD will be in there with them too.......
