5 week old baby and feeding

Hi I'm just wondering

My baby is 5 weeks old today and is formula fed (4oz) he is meant to have a feed every 3/4 hours but will wake on the dot every 2 hours and being to cry, which I try to hold him off for an hour or so so I'm not over feeding him but he's giving me all the signals that he is hungry (clacking his lips and sucking them) sometimes I can't hold him off so I end up giving him his bottle this I don't mind but at night time he is still waking every 2 hours but screaming during the night as soon as his little eyes open. Am I doing something wrong or is there more I should be doing. I change him cuddle him make sure he's warm I use infacol and wind him as much as possible but he's extremely hard to wind so after five minutes I lend to leave him alone and let him sleep. Anyone shed some light on this. The formula I'm using is SMA PRO from birth should I try something new or is this normal

Sorry I can’t offer any advice but my DD, who is 7 weeks, is exactly the same! She wakes every 2 hours on the dot!
I’m just clinging to the notion that she will naturally go for longer periods soon... I hope! Hmm

Well he is still obviously hungry, who told you 3/4 is every 2hours? How much does he weigh? If I was you I would make up 7oz and let him take what he wants. Then see if that pushes home to 6/7oz every 3/4 hours. X
