Early wake ups 15 months

I know this is probably the 5,678th thread about early wake ups but I'm looking for solidarity as much as advice... anyone else suffering with this?!

My toddler has never been an easy sleeper, we did some very gentle sleep training at about 10 months and went from multiple and long wake ups to more or less sleeping through. He was waking at about 5.30 but we were able to leave him in bed til 6 and it felt like bliss after what we had been having!

Last couple of weeks he is a NIGHTMARE to get to bed... and is also waking anywhere from 4am and not resettling. That's still the middle of the night!!

He's on one nap, generally at about 12-2. He's in nursery every day, we get home about 5.45pm and try and have him in bed for 7-ish (has been a bit later recently as he's taking so long to settle down at night)

Ah yes...18mo ds wakes up at either 4.40am or 5am on the dot every day (totally random which one). Tried wake to sleep unsuccessfully so we just take it in turns to get up. Dh working away at the mo so its all on me and i'm knackered. I am not a morning person! A Gro clock worked with his older sister when she was about 2 and a half so will keep using that and hope it clicks at some point!
