Co-sleeping

Hi,
My Dd is now 5yrs (how did that happen already??) she was an easy baby, I combination fed her, bf during the day one bottle of formula at bedtime and boom asleep for 6 - 7 hours through the night from 8 weeks. Still a good sleeper and eater now!

My Ds is 4 months and he's a whole different kettle of fish (a very adorable one though!)
Poor little man has CMPA and a soya allergy, he's exclusively bf as he won't drink the hypoallergenic formula we've been given by the dietitian.
He. Does. Not. Sleep!!! The longest he goes is two hours during the night. He feeds for 15 mins then goes straight back to sleep. So I'm only sleeping for an hour and 40mins max Confused
I've tried having him in the Moses basket in our room, I've tried the Moses basket in his own room, I've tried him in the cot in his room, nothing makes any difference.
The only time we get better sleep is if he is in our bed. Obviously I know all the risks and I've read up on co-sleeping. I'd rather he wasn't in our bed, but at the same time I'm over feeling like a zombie all day!
So after all that waffle, my question is, does any one have a magic sleep wand? Grin
Failing that, to those of you that co-sleep do you use a side sleeper of have dc in your bed?
Which are the best side sleeping cribs? If I'm going to buy one I want to make sure it'll be big enough past 6 months!!
Thank you Smile xx

I cosleep with DD, who is 2y8mo. She was in a cot next to our bed until she was 18months, now she has a floor bed (2 single matesses pushed together) in her room for when I’m sleeping with her.

There are lots of options for a side cot. Choose anything big with sturdy legs.

We started properly cosleeping at 6 months to 20 months. We just put the mattress in the floor. It did not do much for the shape of the mattress but we slept well.
