How long does ur 18 month old
Nap in day if they sleep 11-12 hours overnight?
We having early wakening and a tired baby wondering if he’s napping too much in day !

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Any more than an hour and we have a hard time with our 18month old at night. But he's a poor sleeper in general and only does 10 hours overnight as it is! My daughter used to do a 2hr nap at the same age and then 12 hrs overnight. So they're all different!

Also, there is often a sleep regression at 18 months which could explain your early waking. Give that a Google. DS is waking earlier than usual at the moment (5 this morning!) and I'm hoping it's part of this regression and will end soon!

Our nearly 17 month old will happily do 2.5-3 hrs a day and sleep for 11-11.5 hours at night. But he's always been a mapper and liked his sleep. All babies are different. The recommendation for that age I think is between 13-14 hrs in a 24 hour period. So some babies may sleep 12 at night and only 1.5 during the day etc
