4 month sleep regression - wits end!

Please help! The four month sleep regression has hit at 19 weeks and my boy has reverted to factory settings!! Whatever we do, he just won’t go to sleep at night if he’s not connected to one of us. He sleeps beautifully in our arms or lying on top of me, he eventually falls asleep at the breast if we co-sleep but he absolutely will no longer tolerate being put into his crib. We are at our wits end.

His crib has previously been fine and prior to this he’d settle from around 9:30-2:30, wake for a feed and then go down again around 4:00/4:30. He also did two full nights just before the regression hit and he is capable of self settling as he will sometimes just nod off when playing in his gym and will sleep happily in his pram out on walks.

We’re going to move him up to his cot once we’ve moved out of our tiny one bed flat in three weeks time in case it’s a case of having grown out of his crib.

He’s nodding off at the boob right now. Not really feeding. Maybe introduce a dummy?

Any advice or suggestions most welcome. Thanks for reading.

I know you probably don’t want to hear this but it will pass, just do what you need to to survive but keep trying with the cot thing and your routines and one night in the not too distance future they will go back the previous settings 😀
