11 month old - terrible sleep!

Here I am again, asking for advice about getting ds to sleep better. Honestly, I am far tireder now than when he was a newborn and getting far less sleep. Ds has always woken as soon as put down in anywhere beside our bed, we did manage to get him sleeping in his cot for a few weeks or so in December but then he got poorly and ended up back in our bed. So we are still co-sleeping, which I would like to change. He wakes at least 6 times a night. Usually 3 to 4 times whilst I am still awake, and then throughout the night.

Ds also requires either feeding (bf) to sleep or rocking in our arms until we dare to put him down without him waking. It is so exhausting. When ds wakes during the night he only wants me to feed him and will cry if DP or any other close relative attempts to settle him.

During the day, ds is a very happy and sociable boy. He loves being around lots of people and is busy crawling and cruising about all day, so he's definitely worn out by bedtime. He currently has 2 naps, one around 9/10AM and a shorter one around 2/3PM.

I am desperate for advice as it's so draining and I feel like I'm not able to make the most of our lovely boy during the day. Sorry for the long post.
