5 month old sleep!

My LO is 5.5 months old. He naps really well in the day - he has about an hour in the morning (sometimes 45 mins, sometimes 1hr 15) he then has about 1.5 hours midday-ish (sometimes he’ll sleep for 2 hours) and then 45 mins for his last nap of the day. But the issue is his night time sleep....he wakes a lot in the night and I wonder if it’s because he’s sleeping too much in the day? He’s also ready to start the day at 5/6ish which is a killer when he’s been so restless at night. He’s not yet weaned, FF and is usually asleep for the night around 7ish.

Your LO is right in the middle of two massive leaps. They have one at 5 months and one at 6 months, your LO might be having one abit earlier or abit later. My LO is 21 weeks and is the same also.
It sounds like your LO is sleeping the right amout during the day so I wouldn't change that personally. Is your LO drinking more milk ??

Thanks for your reply! He’s never been a good night time sleeper. Up until very recently he was waking every 2 hours. It’s almost as though he’s so restless at night that he then makes up for it in the day. He doesn’t seem to be feeding more than usual...
