Next to me Crib

Would you recommend the next to me crib for newborn that will only sleep on me at night??

I found my newborn hated it as it was too big and empty. I ended up putting her in the bassinet of the pram and putting that in the next to me crib as it was cosier. She is in there now though albeit we are still having unrelated sleep issues so it was only a temporary thing. Some babies are fine from the start, mine wasn't.

I had to roll a towel up under the sheet in a U shape for her to sleep in for the first few weeks as she was tiny in there and it helped keep it a more enclosed space for her. Took it out when she was about 8 weeks and she’s slept in there fine since. It’s the same sort of result as using a sleepyhead just the free version!

Yeah we did the same with a rolled up towel in the pram to make our own version of a sleepy head. It worked too.

I love ours and got it for this reason. Once DS is fast asleep I can gently roll him into it without him waking.
