1 year old waking habit

When my 1 year old was about 9 months he was poorly with teething and a cold and started to re-wake in the night after sleeping through for a number of months, now he just seems to be in a habit of waking (as it’s the same time every night)but needs his bottle to settle him back off, has any one any ideas how to break this habit? I have tried leaving him to moan it out but he just ends up really upset, not sure what else to try, thanks Smile

Could you try giving him water instead of milk, he might get bored.

I tried that and he refused the water completely, and would not settle after, I have just started him on cows milk, so hoping that may help in some sort of way
