Sleeping cycles

Hi, Sleep cycles are so confusing and i’m always wondering if its only me or this is normal. My 6 month old baby has to be bottle fed to sleep, i dont want to change this because it’s much easier. I know it’s not the right thing and that i should train him to self settle but i’m too exhausted to do it and give up sleeping at night for 1 week during the training. The thing is my baby is 7 month old he can wake up just once during his sleep for 2 weeks and then for another 2 weeks he keeps waking up every 3-4 hours. I don’t understand why sleeping pattern keeps changing and why suddenly he wakes up after 3 hours of sleeping. Another thing that keeps me confused, when i put him to sleep at night, he takes the bottle then sleeps and during an hour after that he has to wake up once or twice and i have to put him to sleep again by completing his bottle or rocking till he finally settles, but then suddenly he stopped waking up so once i put him to sleep, he takes the bottle and sleeps for good i was so happy that finally he stopped the false wakings on his own but the surprise was after 3 hours he woke up and thats the new trend. What should i do about, should i just wait for my baby to grow out of it? Or if i want to change this i’ll need to start sleep training?
