8 month sleep regression? Teething? Leap 6? Secretly plotting to kill Mummy? Who knows?!! It’s only been 2 nights and we’re all exhausted. Awake last night from 3-5am. I know it’s normal and most babies go through it but I’m just curious how you actually get through it. Do you leave LO in their cot? I’m not too bothered about creating bad habits, I actually tried all the bad habits last night and they didn’t work 😂 any experience on this would be great. DD self settles, doesn’t have a dummy and we use white noise. If you don’t hear from me again her secret plot to kill me has worked 😂

A month ago my little one (10 months then) liked to wake in the night for a chat. We co-sleep out of necessity, so we'd try giving her a dummy to fiddle with first (she doesn't actually suck dummies but likes playing with them), and if that failed we'd turf her to her own room. She'd invariably cry at this point. After a bit we'd bring her back into bed, at which point she'd usually be ready to sleep again.

Probably completely the wrong thing to do, but it helped a bit! Good luck and hope your little one settles soon. It's hard isn't it!
