Moses basket to cot transition

Anyone got any helpful stories of making the transition from the Moses basket to a cot?
Daytime naps aren't well received full stop by LO and currently we are in a Moses basket which is the cot, which took some getting used to but now accepted... just need any advice on getting the full way there!
Don't want to use cot bumpers because of the bad reputation

I just went for it... both settled well. I do use a 'hot water' bottle to warm the cot mattress up where her head goes (did the same in the Moses basket).

Ok thank you...maybe after today's nap I'll take the Moses basket away and see how it goes!!

It's worth a go, fingers crossed they'll just take to it. I think both of mine enjoyed the extra space...
