Hi all

Dd has always been a good sleeper. We put her in a bed at 2.5 and potty trained her a few months after. I'd nearly got her dry at nights when a month ago (pretty much bang on her turning 3) she started getting up in the night.

She does 1.5 days at nursery and the rest of time she's with me and the baby and vile with tiredness.

Initially I just took her back to bed repeatedly to no avail but cracked and gave her milk. I've stopped that now. I've been giving her more milk at bedtime and also a bowl of cereal so she's super full.

Dh, baby and I are absolutely knackered and I can barely look at the sleep thief in the mornings.

Any suggestions PLEASE? Return to the cot? Stair gate on her door?

Thank you!!!

Oh dear, you have my sympathies. Mine is the other way round, been a terrible sleeper but cracked it a little after turning 3 and becoming a big sister.

How old is your baby? Did the night waking coincide with baby’s birth at all?

How often does she get up and what is she doing/ saying when she gets up?
