Daytime Naps

Hi all looking for some advice about daytime naps. I have a 8.5 month old, he’s always been reluctant to sleep in his bed during the day but with perseverance he now goes down for both naps without protest. He’s always been better for the morning nap usually sleeping for 90 mins now around 9am, the lunch nap has always been more of a battle and whatever I do, He just doesn’t go past 30 mins. His night sleep is usually good around 11 hours although usually wakes early around 5.30am. My question is really should I worry about only 30 mins at lunch or is that ok? As this will be the nap he keeps for the longest it worries me that we have never really cracked it and the more I read online the more confused I get! Thanks in advance mums xx

The question is, is there anything you can do about it? Does he just naturally wake after 30 mins whatever you do? If so, try not to stress about it. One thing you could try is putting him down later than lunch time so he's more tired? When mine was having two naps she would have one at 9.30am and one around 2pm, rather than at lunchtime. This eventually (around 13 months) evolved to one nap at 12.30ish, which is usually about 90 mins-2 hours these days.
